Redondo Beach

Redondo Beach

Redondo Beach consists of two major sections; North Redondo and South Redondo. North Redondo begins north of 190th Street and is primarily a residential area. There are some commercial and aerospace buildings, but mostly quiet neighborhoods about a mile from the beach. North Redondo also has the famous South Bay Galleria shopping center as well as a number of stores and restaurants on Artesia Boulevard. It is a great area for families and it is home to 2/3 of the children in all of Redondo Beach.

South Redondo consists of many small, close-knit neighborhoods that give the city a small town feeling. South Redondo is home to the Redondo Beach Harbor, which has a number of restaurants and shops that overlook the ocean. The coastline contains many multi-level condominiums with premier ocean views as well as a few single family homes. South Redondo is one of the most sought after areas in the South Bay for its affordable pricing, quiet neighborhoods, and proximity to the beach.
